Blue Cheese Popovers

12 December 2020

I’m very excited to show you this new, and possibly slightly improved, popover recipe. While we may have tweaked the ingredient amounts a little bit, we are still going to be using our foolproof, cold-oven method for making these. The reason this technique is so fun to use, is that it’s literally the opposite of everything every popover expert says you should do.

21 November 2020

Use a bottle of your favorite pumpkin ale to make this easy and delicious beer bread. This recipe is super customizable, so feel free to adjust the sugar to suit your taste. You can also get creative with the spices you use–cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom would all work well here.

Avocado-Nut Bread

25 August 2020

I tried avocado bread recently when a loaf was gifted to me. I came up with this recipe which is dense and moist. Made with Swerve┬« and without the addition of butter, oils, or any other fats for a ‘healthier’ bread. I did not tell the family the ‘secret’ ingredient and they all thought it was banana nut bread!

Sourdough Blueberry Muffins

14 August 2020

Slightly dense and bursting with blueberries. I’ve used unfed sourdough starter discard in this recipe but active sourdough can also be used. Muffins made with active sourdough will be slightly fluffier.
