I’ve loved shrimp wontons with noodles since I was a child. It’s a typical Cantonese (Southern Chinese) recipe and is found in most tea cafes in Hong Kong. Most of the time wontons contain pork but I prefer those with shrimp only.
A recipe Mom has used since I can remember. A special treat at Thanksgiving. Always a hit! For better flavor simmer for hours, adding cream during last hour or so. May also may be made the day before. Do not add cream until ready to reheat to serve.

Intoxicating Onion Soup
This is a delicious onion soup that uses red wine for liquid – but don’t worry, despite its title you’ll only be drunk on happiness! This is delicious served with garlic bread. The salt can be reduced, and the wine should have a 0 or 1 sugar code.
