Awesome Ham Pasta Salad

21 April 2000

I never seem to make enough of this salad. When people see the recipe, they look at me as if I am a little odd…but when they eat it they can’t seem to stop! This recipe is great for kids and adults alike. The garlic is optional. Also, to lighten up the salad, substitute light mayonnaise, light sour cream, and turkey ham.

Glazed Corned Beef with Lentils

23 September 1999

First the brisket is simmered for several hours, and then it is baked with a honey mustard glaze. While the brisket is baking, make the lentils using the boiling liquid from the brisket. Making the lentils is optional with this recipe, but I do strongly recommend them. Try this with good beer and rye bread.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

23 September 1999

This recipe is both unbelievably easy and indescribably delicious. It takes only a few minutes to prepare. Just cook the cutlets in butter, and then heat honey and pecans in the drippings to make the sauce. Try serving with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. This is guaranteed to be a favorite!

Grilled Chicken Salad with Seasonal Fruit

31 July 1999

Both beautiful in presentation and taste, this salad uses fresh berries in summer (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries), and orange segments in winter. Anytime of year this composed salad will bring rave reviews.

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

31 July 1999

Once you’ve had one, you’ll want another. The recipe is a little different from most burrito recipes, but I’ve had many, many requests for it. Serve these with sour cream, chopped green onions, and salsa.

Mock Lobster

25 June 1999

This is a wonderful and inexpensive dish that may be served in place of the much more expensive lobster tail.

Fisherman’s Quick Fish

25 June 1999

A quick, simple and delicious no-fail fish recipe. You can use any firm white fish fillets for this recipes such as scrod, walleye, or halibut.
